D.A.R.E. America/International (D.A.R.E.) is the parent organization for D.A.R.E. program implementations worldwide. D.A.R.E.’s mission is to train specially selected law enforcement officers to deliver to students in grades K-12, D.A.R.E. curricular components furnishing students skills to make sound decisions to avoid involvement with drugs, violence and other high-risk behaviors. D.A.R.E. curricula effectively addresses basic developmental processes to increase resilience and improve overall health, focusing upon core, fundamental skills for life effectiveness.
D.A.R.E. America/International is officially recognized as a consultative organization to the United Nations. D.A.R.E. implementations exist in all states of the U.S. and in 53 other nations.
